Hello;
I am in the process of rebuilding my 226 Gas and notice that the stock pistons have three oil holes drilled in the piston pin area (underneath) to lubricate the pin.
On the new A & I kit piston, there are no holes in this area at all.
So , to me there is something to worry about on this, and want to know what you fellas think on this.
When I called A & I with these questions, I was told "We don't answer questions". Which was unbelievable to me. Honest truth. Hard to get answers from a company to refuses to talk with you. Add to it when I told the dealer this fact he said, yep, they won't talk. Well, you got to be kidding me.
All the best
