Allis chalmer wd main caps

Im building a turbo wd puller like my dad did years ago but the main problem he had was the crankshaft main caps would crack. So im
looking at maybe steel or billet crankshaft main bearing caps... Was wondering if anyone one here has done this before or know of a
machine shop that could possibly do this. Either way my engine will have a steel girdle on the bottom of the block as i am making
that now. Any help on this subject would be greatly aprreciated thanks in advance
