D14 engine work

I think if you look closely at where the frame rails
meet the bell housing, a flange of the motor is
samwhiched in between. So youll need to spit the
tractor to remove the motor.

Thanks,

I'm looking at a D14 with a backhoe and loader online that probably needs engine work, that's about 100 miles away, so I can't tell how it's put together.

Unfortunately, by the time all is said and done with the engine work, I may as well buy the Ford backhoe that's supposedly 100% for a few thousand more, and start digging holes tomorrow instead of 6 months from now.
