Snap coupler planter

A friend showed me a sales brochure for a WD-45. It was one of those deals where the pictures were in black and white, and the implements were in color.I am inquiring about the planter, which appeared to mounted on a toolbar. The view is straight on from the rear, so it is hard to make it out in detail. Since they were planting in ground that appeared to be fitted to some extent, is it possible they were using chisel openers? There seemed to be smaller shovels on either side of each runner, running behind it, and they made a little mound of dirt over the slot made by the runner as this unit had no press wheels. Did these units have model numbers or should I just look for a 4-row planter from this era? Thanks,Fritz

From what I have found out about planters they all have model numbers, but can be equipped different ways to suit whatever was being planted or what the conditions are. This is also true today.
