Could someone please assist in identifying this tractor? Model / year and possible value?

Thanks very much

Where is it located? The manifold and auxiliary fuel tank look like what I've seen on British models.

Thanks for your reply. It is in South Africa.

It is a dual fuel Allis Chalmers B and the year can be found in this site on the left side under the serial numbers. You can find your serial number looking in front of the shifting lever as in the picture where it is stamped in. Sometimes it will need to have the paint wire brushed off to read the number.

Pretty nice old B,it'd bring a pretty good in the USA because of the tank and manifold set up most likely otherwise in the US its probably a $500 to $1000 tractor and you have to find a buyer that's wants one.Would be curious what its worth in your part of the World.

It is not in running condition. The seller is asking for R16,000 which is about $1,300. I checked the serial number and it looks like it's a 1949 model.

I have one and its a 1950.5 AC "B". Nice little tractors and mine is half restored, summer came and had to quit but hopefully will finish this year. Has belly mower on it also.

Just curious. is the small tank for gas and the big tank for kerosene? start it on gas and switch to kerosene when warmed up?
