Stops with Clutch, stays running with Power Director in Neutral. The Clutch overrides the Power Director.

It is not a good choice for any PTO implement that requires frequent backing up like a rotary mower (brushhog). If you want live PTO there are better choices out there.

We made it work on a corn/hay chopper but not far from convenient.

I believe the standard was to engage the PTO with a lever, requiring you to hold the foot clutch in to engage the PTO.

There was an optional PTO with a clutch, so you could engage/ disengage the PTO while in motion (foot clutch out)

Both systems were after the foot clutch, meaning that pushing in the foot clutch disengaged the PTO regardless of the lever/PTO clutch position.

It is not the handiest system, but does work in most situations.

Same as a 180, step in the foot clutch and it all stops , hyd engage does this too, just use the POWERDIRECTOR to stop, or put in neutral then just shift the transmission in any gear you want , then engage the POWERDIRECTOR and good to go
