Model B front wheels

Does anyone know off hand what make and model car that have wheels (4.5" x 5 stud) that fit the front of a model B tractor. My Dad bought a tractor out of a salvage situation that came without front wheels. He will be putting it together as a runner and until he finds real "B wheels" car wheels would do. Thanks!

Should be the same wheels as used on the C WC WD WD45 and a few others. I probably have a number of them laying around

C,B,CA,D10,D12 are the same pattern 15", WC,WD,D14,D15 etc with 5 lugs have a different pattern from the smaller tractors and are 16", RC has the large pattern and a 15" wheel

I thought Chevy was 5 on 5 and 5 on 4 3/4 after they switched from 6 lug and Ford car was 5 on 4 1/2 starting in 1949. Ford trucks used 5 on 5 1/2

I will measure a B for you. Some folks use compact spares from salvage yards. You can get these cheap and use them to at least get it home.

When you said 4.5" in your original post, I was not sure if you meant the bolt circle or the rim width. I went down to the shed and measured a B and it does look like a 4.5" bolt circle. The spindle cap sticks out and it is hard to measure. A compact spare from a Ford car should fit it.

Yes Garry, I meant the bolt circle is 4.5". Thanks for suggesting the Ford compact spares as I have seen some "B's" with compact spares in the past. We just didn't know which
brand of car to request a compact spare from. My Dad took the hub from the "B" with him to a wrecker but it was on one of those howling prairie winter days with minus
whatever...and they weren't willing to go outside to look. Next time it will help if he says "from a Ford". Much appreciated!
