D14 rear rims

I have a 1958 D14 that I need rear rims. It has spinout rims that are shot. Will 28" older ford rims work? Don't want spinout rims. what other rims will work?

Thanks Howard

If you go with 28 instead of the original 26 inch, you"ll increase ground speeds. If you don"t want Power Shift wheels, you can find 26 inch wheels on older combines, like a JD 45, 55, Case, other self-propelled combines. They are 8 hole wheels with the same center circle diameter.

That"s what I used for front duals on my 4450. I like them cuz they"re a bit smaller than the inside wheels, so turning is easier, yet they still grip when needed.

The 26 would have to be extremely wide to match height. I had an F Gleaner with 23.1-26, and dualed them with a 16.9-28...they were the same height.
