6080 alternator wont charge on tractor

I had the alternator tested its good wont charge when its on the tractor help is greatly appreciated

How do you know it's not charging on tractor. Have you tried another alternator? Have owned a 6080 for 35 years, think I am on my 4th (?) alternator in those years. Evey time mine quit charging the tach would stop working. Is your tach still working? You can use a standard 3 wire alternator on the tractor (without the extra prong to run the tach) to see if it will charge with a different alternator. Other than that only thing I can think of is problem in your wiring. Had a problem once with corrosion on some of my wiring at the alternator. Make sure everything is clean and tight.

I got it working somthing in the circuit board i un pluged it and tightined the belt and now i am getting 15 volts tach is still not working properly but i have been running it with out a tack for a while now the whole time i think it may have been the belt just not tight enough now when i plug the circuit board back in im getting 17 volts so theres a problem there too thanks for your reply
