WD 45 remove rear wheel

A lot depends on if it has the swinging draw bar on it or not. On my WD45 I set my jack under the swinging draw bar on the side I want to pull the tire/rim off of and jack it up. All you need to do is jack it up enough to clear the bottom of the tire off the ground which is not all that high up. I do it on the D-17 I have also the same way

Thank you. I don't think I have the original swinging draw bar. I have put an after market 3 pt.hitch on it. If no original swinging draw bar, would I jack it under the axle housing on the side I want to lift? The axle is pretty high from the ground.

If you do not have the draw bar set up yes you can jack by way of the axle you just need to have a few wood blocks and crisis cross them to lock them together and jack it up. My WD45 has a 3 point and also has the draw bar so yours is likely to have it also

One of those long hydraulic, the 20 or 22" long ones that will extend to about 3', jacks is handy for jacking up such tractors, and a few nice big blocks of wood too.

If it is full of fluid, the liquid alone will be nearly 500 pounds. Yes, you can roll it around, but don't let it lean at all.

Thank you again. Does a guy need 1000 pounds extra weight on WD 45? I run a small disc and 2 row JD planter on it. If not, could I let the fluid out before I take off the wheel and also let fluid out of the other tire and fill with air?

Can a 200 pound man handle a tire filled with fluid. Yes but if you so much as make one simple mistake it can and will get you hurt big time and faster then your likely to be able to move. Good chance the fluid in it is CACL which is a type of salt water mix which makes metal rust super fast. Me I have the know how and the equipment to deal with fluid but then on the other hand been doing it for decades.
As for needing the fluid for what you do not likely that you need it. So you can drain it or keep it either way. But if your drain one it is better if you drain them both. Also if it is a CACL mix and you drain it it will kill vegetation and will do so for a good while

Save the calcium in a Barrel until you know if you like it with un-loaded rear tires..even our front tires are loaded...

A simple drill operated pump works well.
