3 Point Pull Out

On a 200, I have the right side of the the 3 point arms pull out with a semi-mount plow. The three
studs that hold the bracket stripped, as well as the holes in the rear end.

Anyone have luck drilling and tapping larger so a larger stud would go into the rear end? Any other
ideas?

Thanks

You mean where the whole three point assembly bolts to the rear of the tractor???
WOW. I've never heard of that one!
Heli-coil, or similar, thread repair inserts. Gets you back to original size.

Never, ever seen that happen before. The tractor obviously also doesn't have the stabilizer bracket that goes from the bottom of the drawbar ears to the pull point on the drawbar up front. They called it the torsion bar support. With that in place (I thought all 200's had that) those three bolts could never fail. You'll sure want this extra support when trying to repair this thing.

Yes, where the 3 point assembly attaches to the rear of the tractor. It started swaying while plowing, the left side is solid.

I'll see if I can find a torsion bar support and try a helicoil type repair. It looks like the rear end is cast and the assembly is steel, so I'm hoping the threads can be made better.

I do have a bale wrapper that is 3 point mounted that may have weakened the system, the plow is a 4 bottom 16", which should be about right in clay heavy soil.

Thanks Much

Any model 7000 tractor will have one for sure (not a 7010 or bigger) and I've never seen a 200 that didn't have one either.

The studs that pulled out are the three on the right side. It is labeled on the drawing as Number 18. The tube, part 21, kept the assembly from pulling away entirely, it was flopping around with the plow.

We'll see how the repair goes.

Thanks
