D-14 Power Steering

Thanks - I thought maybe. There's not many of them around here, so a different tractor may be the solution. I've always wanted a late model D-15, so maybe I should look in that direction. I've just had this tractor for so long, and it's been so reliable, I hate to replace it.

I trust you don't have a loader on it without power steering? If you jack it up in the air, grease all the joints and steer in both directions several times while suspended that can make a good difference. New three rib front tires with good air pressure also helps to make steering easy. That all said I really like the power steering on my D14, my other D14 is regular steering...I know what you're talking about.

Like was said,

First I would try new tri rib front tires 6 or 8 ply and keep them inflated to max 40-45 lbs, plus full lube of steering box system,

Unless you just get lucky and can find a junk tractor with power steer and then you do not know if it works, it will be expensive,

Keep this tractor and buy a D 15 with power steering and maybe updated lift system 3 pt hitch

Just my opinion
