AC 200 Tachometer Cable

Having trouble getting a tachometer cable to last more than a few hundred hours in an AC200. This is the one that goes from the alternator to the tachometer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check and see if the tachometer is turning hard. They can get sticky and turn a little harder and that will soon break the cables. You can also lube the cable inside the liner. You use powered graphite not oil.

Thanks I'll give graphite a try. I think the last Agco one bought was pre-oiled so I kept oiling it.
