Looking for a gas tank. This is for my neighbor. His original is in really bad shape.Now ha s tractor runs great and is a happy camper. Just the tank is a mess. Can someone help my neighbor.

Define bad shape. Busted up, rusted up, rusted out? If it's nice and straight but rusty, I'd clean and line it. Buying a used one will probably give you the same problems as the one you currently have. A chunk of chain, bunch of bolts and nuts, and a few trips around the yard chained to a tractor tire will break the rust loose. Few washes with muratic acid and a good gas tank liner and you'll never have the problem again. Even a few rusted through pin holes can be fixed with some JB Weld and a light sanding.
