How can I get this access sealed it looks tweeked.its where the oil filter bolts on there is only six bolt that hold it on so it cant be force flat. The gasket material I have is pretty thin so it won't fix these imperfections

I suppose you could take it off and try to massage it back flat with some pounding. I think the stock gasket was kind've thick. Could try doubling your thinner gasket material.

I ordered 1/8 thick cork hopefully that plus some beating wiil do her is there a trick in using cork like soaking it in oil or something

Work it Flat on a surface plate, then use "Gasket Maker" instead of the gasket..do not draw the bolts down tight until the gasket Maker has set..

For Water ( Coolant) gaskets, I use it when short of time, with a loop of Dental Floss carefully laid in place inside of the bolts..never had a leak..

FYI...that is how Opposed cylinder Aircraft engine Crankcase halves are assembled..except they use a #14 Silk thread...!!!!

Could you make a couple steel strips that would run down length that plate and stop the warping of it. I use a picture of oil pan using that idea.

I believe it gives the sealer something to "Lean on" so it is less likely to move and slip out of place....it crushes and you cant see it is there..

I only use enout sealer to do the sealing job, but not squeeze out much at all once the part is tightened..

Glue the thick gasket to the clean metal cover with yellow 3-M weather strip adhesive and let dry. Then, smear a thin layer of RTV silicone on the gasket and bolt it up to the clean block snugly. Let dry and tighten the bolts just a tad more. The block surface usually is NOT machined, so the gasket has to be squeezed enough to fit to the rough block casting.
