AC G ground

Working on a tractor in our ag mechanics class restoring an AC G where is the battery to be grounded from the factory and where does the voltage regulator go? Thank you

original location is a stud fastened to the battery box and right near the amp gauge and ignition switch underneath the hood, I could take photos tomorrow if no one else posts.

Thank you I saw the stud on the battery box today and thought that looked like a good place to mount a ground.

The G didn't have a voltage regulator. They used a 3 position light switch to regulate the charging rate. They also had a cutout that opened when the tractor wasn't running so the battery didn't get drained. It was located behind the off-on switch and amp gauge. LOL Bob
