Allis Chalmers C parts and hydraulics

I am putting my 1942 Allis Chalmers C back together, and I am nearly done. However, I am not sure how the left hydraulic cylinder goes on. I get it on but it rests on the belt pulley when the hydraulic hose is one top, and it will not go on when I try the hydraulic hose on the bottom. Is there something that holds the two hydraulic cylinders up?

Then I have two pieces I do not know where they go. The are two L shapped pieces with one side about an inch long and the other side about two inches long. The side with two inches long has two holes in it. In the parts manual there is a picture of a hose guard (but it just has one hole in it) and perhaps that is what these pieces are, but I cannot determine how where they fasten to anything and how they protect the hydraulic hoses or maybe hold the hydraulic cylinders up.

There is probably something quite obvious that I am missing. But I need someone to point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Finally found some old pictures I took before taking the tractor apart. I did not have the seat mounted high enough. The two brackets fit below the rear of the seat. The hydraulic cylinders do not hit the seat that way. Plus I put a bar under the seat to hold the ends of the cylinders up.
