I'm selling my series II D15, new to the forum and I'm not sure where to post this. But anyways it's a good solid tractor tractor, just got finished restoring it. All new paint with clear coat on the wheels and sheet metal, new gauges and brakes along with new seals in the rear end and PTO. Good rubber all the way around and has an allis snap coupler blade that goes with it. Asking 5200 for it, located in central Missouri.

I have one already. Yours looks better than mine. You
shouldn't have any trouble selling it. Good luck.

Thanks, I've restored lots of tractors over the years for other people but I bought this one myself for a project and it turned out great.

Ya it had combine wheels on it when I bought it and that wasn't gonna fly in my book. Got the 28" quick spreads from a guy down the road from me they came off a WD. The taller wheel and tire gives it a good stance.

Just to make it clear- the "pie" weights for the D17(WD) wheel are different than the ones for the D15. They will not interchange. The D15 ones are flat, like the wheel. The D17 ones are sloped, again, to match the surface of the wheel.

I do have a set of F&H wheel weights that will fit the wheels on the tractor. Just haven't decided if I want to sell them or not

Nice tractor - ran one as a teenager in the late 60's as a demo on our little farm.No way Dad was ever going to buy new. I'm not an AC guy but would like to ask - what did they do to make a series 2 tractor.
Did I see somewhere they went up to a series 4 with the D series of tractors? Just wonder what all changed and how would one know looking at them.I should add I'm not completely non AC - I have an AC66
combine.

As for the D15's they only made the series I and series II. The difference is the series 2 had more horsepower from the factory, the lights were mounted on the fenders instead of the grill and they had a big oval muffler instead of a small round one. The series 2 had a nicer seat with a back rest where as the series I had a pan seat. I also know the series 2 has a different radiator than a series I. I'm sure there are other things also but that's what i know for sure.
