WC PTO Rear Bearing Housing

I am in the process of putting a PTO on my WC. Everything seems to be going ok but I did notice that the bearing that supports the end of the PTO shaft is not the best. I looked at the bearing housing casting and it looks like a seal on each end and a bearing in the middle. My question is that there looks like allot of open space between the seals and the bearing. Is that normal or am I missing some parts?

Should be a nice heavy double roller bearing in there, sounds like someone used a single
Should be no extra room, one bearing, two seals, and a snap ring
Allis part for bearing, 70212243

Awesome! Thanks! One last question. On the side of that housing there are 2 holes next to each other. One has a grease zerk in it and the other has a bolt in it. What is the purpose of the bolt?

I got it all apart now. Looks like the bolt was just to hold in the seal on the end to keep the whole thing together.

All of the bearings are standard off the shelf. With the number on the bearing any car parts store can get them. Same with the seals. The original seals were much thicker than the current seals so that may account for the space as the seals may have been replaced once.

I know i may be grave digging here, but -

Anyone have pictures or a WC rear with the PTO? Pics with a 3pt would be helpful too... My WC is missing everything, and i'd like to be able to pull 3pt powered implement around, like a bush hog or finish mower.

Part numbers, Links, Phone numbers, Names of the parts would be awesome.

Thanks Gents.

There is a near zero chance for putting a 3 point on a WC. You would need a pump valves and lift all of which would need to be scratch built as no one ever made a kit for them. PTO is simply the gearbox under the tranny, the shaft, and the bearing. I can snap a picture later if no one else posts one. You can get on the AGCO parts web site and look at the diagrams.

Zero chance with off the shelf stuff. When I asked about the 3pt stuff, I was asking if anyone else had done it. I have no issue building from scratch, just need to figure out my PTO situation before I work in the 3pt stuff.
