I know nothing about AC tractors, and not much about my Ford 8N. I've been looking for a tractor to do some work at 8000', mostly grubbing and some grading. The 8N is too light for the work, and the AC was sitting there, and he offered it for $1800.
It runs, and everything seems to work. I don't know what class or version it is. Also worried about using the 3 point with the snap-connect deal, but a buddy says it can be done.
If it works ok, and looks ok seems like a good deal. The only thing I tried so far is the clutch, and trans and they worked fine. I'll get the SN and try to find out which version it is on Sat.
What say you? will this grub and grade at 8000' elevation? Sandy/loamy soil, and creosote bushes.
