WD shifter cover

Can anyone tell me if a shifter cover off of a WD 45 will work on a WD? Trying to find one and only thing I can come up with is 45 cover or if anyone might know where I might call to get the other I would appreciate it.

I cannot for sure tell if it will or will not but the WD45 I have has a straight shiftier that appears to be from a WD.

By the way I also have a WD parts tractor and it still has the shiftier on it

Very late model WD's and all WD-45's had a constant mesh transmission with helical cut gears. Older WD's had sliding gear straight cut gear teeth. Shift cover assemblies do not interchange between the 2 transmission types.
