Please help me identify this snap-lock implement.

This has the AC snap-lock system
latches and front clevis. Has a
Traction Booster decal on it. The
square frame is painted white instead
of Orange. I can't figure out what is
supposed to be attached to it on the
big pin. I thought maybe a rear
mounted blade but it looks like there
would be no tilt control of the blade
since it's allowed to pivot side to
side. I'm just not up on Allis stuff
so I hope someone can tell me what it's
for or better yet, post a picture.

I have a very similar snap coupler hitch for my 12 foot Allis KT tandem wheel disc. I'd have to look at again in the light to see how close. Allis also made some traction booster hitches for both snap coupler and 3 point hook ups to attach pull type implements that would allow the tractor's traction booster system to lift the front of the implement to increase traction similar to a mounted implement. This may be part of one of those hitches. Mike

it looks like a Traction Booster drawbar. Was used for pulling larger pull type disks and still retaining some of the Traction Booster gains. I think the disk needed the right kind of hitch to hook up to the big pin.
