AC B Woods mower

I have an AC B with a Woods L-59 mower. The belts are very expensive from the dealer, is there an alternative?

Take the part numbers or belts to a GOOD car parts store and you should be able to find them cheaper. Might also check eBay and Amazon. Might also want to look into why you need new ones. If it is a frequent issue, something is wrong with the mower. Belts should last a long time.

Ask about a steel belted industrial belt. The company I used to buy them from went out of business. They will last about two seasons longer than the woods belt at a lot cheaper. I bought the last two from NAPA without the steel belt.
I just measure the belt length which will get you the correct belt.

I just bought one for my 6 foot mower off of ebsy. works fine. less than 30 bucks. You can do a search on the net to find the part number. type in L 59 WOODS MOWER.

NAPA beat5s anything here and the belts last 3-4 times longer...

Seems they refer to "Fractional Horse Power Belts" as the name..??

I bought a kevlar belt from vbelts online for my C with a L59 mower. Has lasted very well for me. A local guy told me to make sure to buy a kevlar belt.

I use goodyear B225 from Bearing Distributers
