That is a good question and I will have to look at he W Speed Patrol seat to see if the back rest on it would also fit my WD45 and if it would I have an aftermarket seat on a WC tractor that I might sell that has a back rest.

Wouldn't think it's be to hard to do. The WC came with one and used the same seat. Would hate to try and throw my leg over something higher yet though.

I have a 45 diesel. I don't think I could get my leg over a back rest to get on the tractor. Getting off would be worse.

I wouldn't want one on mine because its hard enough to get on and off now. There are several places that I can get them from and they fit a WC,WD,WD45 and some other models.

I've got a WC backrest on my WD. It works fine. Makes the tractor feel a little more secure, like you won't fall off the back. I don't throw my leg over the seat to get on though, I hold onto the backrest with my right hand and sort of slide my right leg over to the right footrest, in front of the seat.
