Tractor Market

The market for antique tractors must be really soft as I see the same ones on Craig's list all the time. I'v been trying to sell an AC G for $2,300 and no bites. Is one time of the year better than others?

I think it is getting very soft. 5 years ago a stuck RC would be worth a grand. Guy on the other page cant get a bite at $500. WDs are off their highs. I think guys are bumping up to the D series. 5 years ago it'd take 4 grand to buy a G.

I think so too Got a nice little D 14 new rubber wide front power steering motor stuck want 1,000 for it just a couple nibbles on it

The pool of people that are looking for the older tractors is definitely shrinking all the time,no cab,no AC,no power steering,no 3 pt hitch are all sale killers these days.
People want tractors that pretty much ride and drive like a car.And most of those that like the old tractors to use like myself have way more than we can use now and I only
buy now if its a real bargain and sometimes pass them up.

I was buying and selling several and some parts, last few years seems like demand and value have gone straight down. I think a lot of older people that would have wanted them are passed on or as someone said have all they can handle. You also cannot blame a lot of people for wanting something more reliable and efficient to do even a little real work with, and money for several is not available.
