Lowered Allis C

I have seen model B tractors that people have lowered like a IB. Has anyone done the same thing to a "C" but left it narrow front?

It has been a few years but the last time I was at the Portland Indiana engine show some one had a lowered C with the narrow front. He had cut the pedestal to make it short. I am sure I saw picture of it on here about that time.

Story in Farm Show many years ago- guy from Hutchinson, MN, had a lowered Model C that he used for a lawn mower. Just saw it again going thru back issues. Google Charles Thor, Hutchinson, MN. Specialized equipment.

I lowered an Allis B last year, it ends up being around 9 inches lower rotating the final drives 90 degrees. Youd have to take that amount out of the front height so maybe half in smaller tires/rims and half out of the pedestal. I think it could be done. The hardest part of lowering the B was linkages for the brakes. Which alot of guys on here sent me pics of the IB setup and what they had came up with. All in all it was pretty easy.
