WD45 Seat Shock Spring

Can just the shock be replaced on a WD45 Tractor seat? Looks like the shock and spring are 1 unit. Thanks!

Mine came apart, and I got just the shock. NAPA I think. The shock had a number on it.

when I painted my WD 3 yrs I took the seat shock apart and painted the shock (oragne), spring (silver) and end plates (black)
the one on mine had been replaced a cpl yrs before I got it per the info I got from the PO and it looked pretty new compared to everything else around it
you can see it in the photos painted
not sure if you can buy just the shock or not
but if yours is collapsed the spring is probably done as well
I would replace the whole unit with a new one

The WD and WD45 take a different shock spring set up. The second photo is a better shot of a WD45 shock spring set up. Its completely new and run about $100.00.
