7060 stiff clutch when cold

Hi gang, I have a '76 7060...great, hard working, good on fuel tractor, 6800hrs last week I spent 2 day hooked to the rock picker (heavy clutch work) ...now when the tractor is cold I have to pull the clutch pedal back with my toe...very stiff!!...clutch still works great...today I was pulling max hp in front of our 24th vibrashank. ..no slippage whatsoever...and its everything the 7060 can do to pull that thing!!!! I'm not worried about the clutch per say, but why won't the pedal come back now?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Vern.

If it is a Power Shift transmission, there is a broken spring inside the dashboard on the clutch pedal. If it is the 20-speed Power Director transmission, still could be the same spring, but I think it's probably the cable that connects the clutch pedal to the clutch valve underneath the cab.
