Rear rims for a D15

We have a D15 that needs a rear rim, they are the spin out type. What other wheel will fit this tractor or a place to buy used rims? It has a 16.9x26 rear tire on it.

Depending on how bad they are a good welder can fix them. I have in the past fixed a good many rims that had rust problems and I have fixed a few people said could not be fixed but I did any how. Ya it you really want it to look good welding will not be the way to go but if it is a work machine it does great

Spinout rims are available, but pricy. Try M. E. Miller tire, or D. J. S. Allis Chalmers parts.

D14 wheels are the same. Check with salvage yards, like Heitman Salvage in WI. If you can find a donor 26 inch rim you can cut a piece out and weld it into the rusted rim. Grind smooth and repaint.

If you look for used wheels with tires 28'' rims used on WD, WD 45 and D17 also fit. If you don't need the spin out style you can use 26'' wheels and tires from some old combines. On my WD I have 28''wheels from a corn harvester. The bolt pattern is the same (8 holes with 8'' diameter of the circle for the holes) and even used on other makes of tractors.

A 16.9 is a pretty wide tire for a D15 they came originally with 12.4,13.6 and 14.9 tires. Most any standard 8 lug rim will bolt on.What part of the country are you located?
I have a nice set of 13.6 X 28 tires with 75% tread mounted on power adjust rims with the 8 lug pattern for sale.I'll take $600 they're ready to bolt on.
