Hi guys!
I have a question about,The lift mechanism.

It has lines that go to the rams, and a line that goes to the quick connect for attachments.
There is only one lever that is mounted to the steering coloum.

It only works the rams.
How does the rear attachment hyd work?

Would help if you said what tractor you have. I know on the WD45 I have the 3 point which is home made comes up then the hyd quick connect will do its job. When you go to say lower the piece of equipment it goes down first then the 3 point arms go down. But that said some tractor have a valve you have to open or close to make it so you can use the quick connect

Try putting a hyd pressure gauge on the quick connect then play with that valve and see if you can make the pressure gauge show pressure. STILL would help if you said what tractor you have

A pic would help. On a D17, and others, there is a transport valve in the hyd system...it does not shut off flow, but it varies flow, depending if you have a mounted implement, or a towed one, such as a disc. I"ll post a pic of my D17...

So is this one of those that you have a tractor but you do not know what model it is??? I can never see how some one can own something but yet not know what they have. Posting a picture of the whole tractor will help us help you

I suspect your tractor might be a WD or WD45, by your description of lift arms, hyd lines, and control lever. If so, the rear hyd outlet is plumbed to the third port on the top of the hyd pump, and when you use the rear remote, the lift arms will rise first, then the remote implement. You can physically tie the lift arms up when using the remote coupler. Then they will not drop, so the next time you raise the remote implement, you will get immediate action on the remote cyl.

A transport valve is generally not used on the WD, but it certainly could have been installed by a previous owner. A pic of your valve would help.

A pic did not appear, but....on the left side of this page is something called "Galleries". Under that is listed "tractor photos". Look though that til you recognize your tractor model, and post it here....
