greetings, have an 1939 A. can anyone give me a number for the oil filter, canister type. NAPA filter listing is too tall in the outer diameter. the one that came out has longer nipples on the ends and shorter body. thanks.

It originally had a Purolator on it with a
permanent element that was cleaned buy
turning a handle on top but like many others
it has been converted to the canister. Later
tractors used units similar to what you have
but many types of filters were used on the
ones that were converted. Best take your
old element to napa and try to match it.
