Hi everyone!

My WD-45 just quit running.
When I put my hand over the carb,It will start but not stay running.
I have pulled the carb apart several times.Cant find any issues, checked float level, needle and seat etc
I replaced all of the ign parts.
Could it be a leak in the intake gaskets? All of the bolts are very tight

Sounds like a clogged main jet. If it is a Zenith Carb, it should be at the bottom of the bowl after your remove the power adjustment needle. Some other carbs have them behind the main nozzle.

Trouble shoot then parts NEVER the other way around. #1 make sure you have a good spark that is blue/white and jumps a 1/4 inch gap of more. #2 pull the carb drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes.
If you have all that when you place your hand over the carb air intake do you get a good suction on your hand and also do you get gas on your hand. Of you have all that then good chance you missed something in the carb. You need to poke out all the passage ways with a piece of wire or as I use a torch tip cleaner tool

Thanks a bunch guys! Got it running!
Also! It won,t stay in 3rd gear, under load or not
Is it a normal problem with that model?

Never heard of it being a problem on the WD45 but if one has shifted it on the go that could be the problem since these transmission are made to be shifted from a stop then go.
