Allis Chalmers 190 price

Looking at a 190 gas with a loader that runs good but the three point does not work. What could the problems be and cost to fix? What would be a price for the tractor be with and without the three point working? Tractor has good tin all around but one of the rear tires is dry rotted. The guy selling it has only had it for a few months so doent know much on the history. TIA

from what Ive read the AC 190
was Allis's problem child
probably why he's trying to get rid of it in such a short time
I saw one go last yr at auction he had fight to get the bids upto 1500
and that was a really nice looking tractor
same auction got 5500 for a beat to death MF 165 that I figured wouldn't get 1000 bid on it was 3rd
thing after the 190 to go for bids

The early 190 and 190XT where known to have transmission problem so you need to take it for a drive and make sure it does not pop out of any of the gears. Also parts like say brake parts are very high $$. In my area a good 190XT diesel will ring around $2500 tops

round my area a straight looking fair paint 190 or 190XT gas without a loader will go from $2,500 to $3,500 and more if it has good paint. A diesel 190 or 190XT will go for $3,500 to $5,000 if it's straight and fair paint. If it's really nice then maybe as high as $7,500 or more. A loader doesn't seem to add that much value anymore.
