Allis 8010,mfd

Just picked up a allis 8010 mfd powershift,8000 hrs. The last few years it has Sat. Being the hours it has anything I should to this tractor besides all fluid drain and filter change. New to allis so any pros or cons would help. Does anyone know how many where made with mfd on them. Thanks Steve. It also has the side panels and front weights.

I'd have a couple sets of fuel filters on hand. Diesel doesn't do well sitting. Might even want to try and drain the tank and get some fresh in it.

If the tractor hasn't been started in some time, remove the engine oil drain plug to the last thread and slowly drain some motor oil. If there is any coolant in the oil, it will be right there on the bottom. I'd be very concerned at 8,000 hrs on an FWA model. It should have been overhauled already. Make sure the radiator is FULL, because if it isn't, the coolant may have leaked by sleeve Orings and is in the engine oil.
