I am not a ac man but work for a farmer who has several tractors that are ac. He has lots of fast hitch coupler plows in different sheds but no pull type. I can't really say that I have seen any on ytmag or on any sales. They was surely made by ac and if they were why are they so scarce to find. Thanks

When Allis Chalmers went to the snap coupler with traction booster that slowed down the use of pull type plows at that time and after that the 3 point hitch.

Over the years I've seen several 2 bottom AC trail plows..The picture is one at a Olpe,KS plow day last year..Several years ago I bought a WC AC tractor on full steel...It was hooked to a AC 2x14 trail plow on steel and he kept it..

Some friends had a 6 bottom AC square beam plow from the 1960's which a D-21 would have pulled....Just recently a 1960's AC 5 bottom trail plow was for sale in western Kansas for $500..

I have a 2-18 pull type AC. Agree with others, once the traction booster mounted plows came out that was the end of pull type.

The mounted plows were less costly, and after operating a 3-bottom AC pull type with the pull rope for an afternoon, the mounted was much easier to operate. A mounted plow was easier to back into a corner and start plowing than a pull type.

Here's one of the scarce ones....a 4 bottom trip lift. I found it in a ditch....
