Info Needed on American LaFrance engine

One of my other projects is to help the gentleman who's tractors I am rebuilding get his 1918 American LaFrance fire truck running. It's been 34 years from what I understand. It is a in line 6 T head. Looks to be in good shape. No oil leaks from what I can see. Hopeing that someone here might have some info on these engines that they might want to share. This is a museum Fire Truck. Any help or direction would be appreciated. All I have done so far is pull the plugs and add Marvel Mystery Oil to the cylinders and valve cups to let it stew for a while before I start with the hand crank.

I have tried a lot short of making phone calls which is next on the list. Forsee making a lot of gaskets in the future. All else will more than likely work. I would almost bet that filing the points, cleaning the carb, moving the valves would work wonders. Started up an old T one time and it had been 23 years. Drove it back to the old fellers house and gave him a ride then he parked it and passed on a few months later.

I would bet it would start with very
minimal work, maybe not even have to file
the points as usually a museum environment
is kept climate controlled, unless it's was
more of an outdoor shed like many engine
clubs. Either way some points cleaning and
maybe a carb rebuild, if it was an indoor
museum thing it may have dried out the
seals from being empty
