Oil Bath hose

I'm rebuilding the carburetor On my WD. The hose between my oil bath and carburetor is hard and brittle and needs replaced. My question is.... do I have to replace it with a hard hose or can I simply use a radiator hose?

I have used all sorts of type of hoses to fix that problem. Big thing is to get a hose that stands up the oil or it can shrink or get bigger and then fall off.

The proper stuff is no more "hard" than radiator hose but is more gasoline/oil resistant.

Have you looked, does this site sell them?

That being said, I would GUESS over the years most HAVE been replaced with run-of-the-mill radiator hose. Seen a lot of em over the years all gummy and swelled up.

If you can find "gas tank fill hose" in the correct ID, I think that would be a good choice.

The local parts stores around here sell it by the inch, something like $1 an inch and they will cut the piece off for you. Just take the old one in or measure it and you should be fine.
