WD float adj.

I rebuilt my Marvel Schebler carb and my IT book does not show carbs. Does anyone know the float level? Old one was 3/8, new one is sitting at 1/4 but floods.

I-T manual AC-11 Paragraph 110 page 24 says float adjustment is 9/32from the nearest face of float to bowl cover. As per what I just read out of that manual

Thanks old, my manual is an AC11 but a copy that only went up to page 96.

Same manual as I have paragraph 110 not page 110 tells you what and how to adjust the float.

Ya these manuals in the index are set up for paragraph numbers not page numbers so can be hard to figure out if you do not use them a lot. That is why when I post something like I did I give both numbers so that way you might find what I did easier but that is also why I have a large stack on manuals sitting her so I can use them to help

You said that you rebuilt the carb, didn't the rebuild kit have a piece of paper in it with rebuild instructions? They usually give the settings on that paper!

No paper work. Just the packing slip. That's why I went here. After old pointed it out I did find it in my IT manual. Just needed to find out how to read it.

Do not know if you have an O'Reilly's auto parts tore in your area but if you do they sell carb kits made by Walker and those kits have very good instruction in them and cost around $20. I use those kits all the time when I rebuild carbs and I have done a lot of carbs over the years
