can any one tell me why i can not get neutral in the power director clutch? al help would be appreciated

Are you saying that with the tractor in gear, and the brakes held down, it won't stop moving when in neutral? If that's he problem, then the clutch probably needs to be adjusted. And you need the ITT manual to do it.

The oil-bath dual range Power Director clutch has a tendency to want to "creep" when the oil is cold. Cold could be defined as oil temps under 120 degrees. So, this time of the year, the hand clutch will have somewhat of an issue not showing it has a neutral. If you are in 4th gear, neutral will be easier to find than 1st gear. There should be a neutral "lock" on the lever, so maybe you have a problem with it, but just remember, cold oil will make creeping happen and anyone who tells you different must live closer to the Equator than I do. Drain the 2 1/2 gallons of oil and replace it with modern day Universal hydraulic/transmission oil will help some.
