Industrial b 3 point hitch question.

Thanks for the reply Lonnie, I have never seen one but I also have not seen many IBs either. I looked long and hard for one around here but never found one. I wanted one to mow with. I finally bought a standard b and Im in the process of lowering it to the same height as an IB. Just thought I would ask as Im having to rework the drawbar.

I have don't that several years ago to an IB. I don't have a picture handy right now, but this is what I did.
---Remove the 1/4 inch U shape seat mount that bolts to the upper final drive bolts and build a square box to mount with the same 4 bolts .. Add a rockshaft to the back edge of this with two upper lift arms.
---Mount a 4 x 4 angle iron under the final drive / transmission case that runs from one side to the other and bolts to both final drive cases on the 4 of 5/8 inch drawbar bolts.
-- mount a CA hydraulic cylinder to the center of this angle iron pointing straight backward under / to the side of / the pto shaft.
---Mount two lift arms off an 8N FORD ( sell at Farm STore) to each side of the hyd cylinder onto the angle frame.
--Build a heave 90 degree arm that is part of the rockshaft that sticks down and allows the horizontal cylinder to push it BACKWARD, which rotates the rockshaft up toward the seat.
---tie the lift arms up to the upper arms with 1/4 inch adjustable chains for links.

It works pretty good and has plenty of lift power from the CA cylinder. Only problem is the linkage dimensions are not ideal and I only have about 8 inches of lift on the arms. Since the tractor only sets about that far off the ground, its not a real problem.
