WC forklift

Hello
Looking at an old reversed wc with a forklift mast. I was wondering if anyone had any information on it, was there a shop that specialized in building these, what type of pump was used and what would the lift capacity be?

YOUR LOCATION? Seriously, this a world wide web. I know of two places within 40 miles of me that reversed AC tractors for loaders, etc. I did my own WD back in about 1978.

Ontario, Canada. You've kind of answered my question. I didn't know if there was one place the made them all, or if they were largely done by do-it-yourselfers.

I made one out of a RC, bought a junk fork lift for $200 and put mast on back of the RC flipped ring and pinion, made wide front axle steered
by hyd cylinder. Works great except the lift capacity is less than when mast was on lift with smaller tires cuz larger tractor wheels
move mast out further. It will lift about 3800# depending how much weight is on the back.

I should have said that your lift capacity would be a function of the psi of the pump you choose, and the diameter of the cylinder. I can"t remember the brand of the first pump I used, but it was a low pressure (15-1800psi), and I replaced it with a Cessna brand same pressure pump that was physically smaller. Much easier to fit into the space under the radiator and couple to the crankshaft. I welded a shaft to the front pulley, and used a double chain coupler to attach the pump. I also added 6 inches to the tractor frame, to move the steering box forward to make more room.
