Does the power directer assy come with the rear section when splitting? I assume that it does since the p.d.control shaft had to be removed. I thought that I should ask the experts first,as I have said before, I have never split one of these tractors.

The P.D. clutch will stay on the trans input shaft with the rear section. There's a snap ring that you have to remove to get the clutch off the shaft. There is a good you tube video that shows how to properly shim the clutch.

The shaft that the foot clutch pedal rides on,does it press in to the houseing or does it screw in? The parts photo that I have found does not show that very clear.

Got it split. Didnt realize that it may be heavy to the rear with the 3 pt arms on it. Was hooked ahead of that. Put a roller jack under hitch and it came apart.
