B Transmission oil

I'm refurbishing a 1939 B. Looked for the oil weight for the transmission in my manuals but can't find any information. I suspect its 80 or 90 weight, but that seems heavy if the hydraulic pump is installed. Does that seem like the correct weight?

The tractor was shipped with 80 or 90 wt oil, but when the dealer installed the hydraulic pump, the oil was replaced with 20W non-detergent.

it is very common these days to use Universal Tractor Fluid.......... at the FAam Store or other (NAPA - Wal Mart) you will see "Hydrauilic- Transmission" fluid --------- that's it.

Before the days of hyd/trans fluid, AC had you put the same oil in the rear/hyd. system as you put in the engine. If I recall correctly- 30 in summer, 20 in winter.
