AC 8050 Information

Im looking for some info and opinions of an 8050 2wd that does not have a powershift transmission, it has 5300 hrs in good shape. I really like the tractor but have never owned one as our farm is mostly Green tractors. Any information, experiences or opinions would be great about these tractors. Thanks

I have used ac tractors for along time. 7060 with two speed power director since 1987. very little trouble as our big tractor.2 years ago got 8070 with 6 speed power shift. have also had a 7040. the 2 speed pd trans offers 20 speeds while the ps tran is 12 and not spaced like I like them. the 20 will provide a gear for about anything not so with the 12. the 8050 is very similar and if you can handle the clutch ok go for it.i got the 8070 for my wife because ps tran clutches much easier. very nice otherwise and cab is huge. rick
