strange WD seat

I recently obtained a 1951 WD,it still has the original seat however it is like no other WD seat that I have seen before. It has 5 or 6 notches on the framework of the seat that makes it adjustable. Does anyone know anything about this type of seat? I've looked at a lot of WD's and I've never seen another one. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that's it.Do you know anything about it? I'm wondering if you could order it from the factory or if it was a dealer only thing. Also I need one if anybody has one.

I have seen that same seat on early 40's Case DC tractors.

My dad put one on our WD.He also put on a tip over type hinge that set the seat about three inches to the left. Both items were after market, but they improved the ride tremendously. Both items were bought from our AC dealer.
