Splitting stands D-14

I've taken on a project for the winter to provide some serious TLC to a D-14. I'm normally an IHC man so pardon my ignorance on A/C. I've already got the IT, service, and parts manual. I'm looking to beg, borrow, rent a set of splitting stands for a D-14 somewhere around the St. Louis, MO area. Or am I going to have to make my own? Which I can. I've got to overhaul the engine, work on the clutch, power commander, brakes, replace rear tires, etc., etc. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're gonna have the engine out, you won't need any stands. Block up under the torque tube close to the clutch housing, then unbolt and remove the front steering bolster, axel and wish bone. Then the side frames, hook onto the engine with a hoist and remove it, if the torque housing is to be removed, block farther back.

Dave, I have a home made set out of heavy angle and channel. It was built for a wd45, and I don't know if the frame width on a D14 is the same. Email open, Wentzville.

Thanks for the responses. I do have access to an engine hoist. Since I'm going through everything, I thought with stands I could work on several things at a time. And be safe, too.
