Best all crop for clover seed

I have been looking at raising some cover crops for seed and wondered if a canvas feed would be better than an auger feed all crop combine? I'm guessing less seed loss with canvas?

Pretty likely to be better with the canvas. I remember the draper on the 66 was much better than the chain/bars on the 60 for windrowed crops. Once the seed gets to the canvas, it should get to the cylinder.

5' AC 60 is best for Clover /Timothy seed..

The wider 5 1/2 foot does not feed smoothly and the slugs sound real bad when they go thru..

A couple Honey Bee hives improve the yield..

Set the cylinder clearance to 2 flats (1/2turn) up from cylinder bars just touching, cylinder speed up High..

any of the all crops will work. clover seed is harvested on the second crop alfalfa is the first crop. just make sure you use very little wind and if using a scour kleen you may have to use it in reverse which means the dockage will go into the tank and the seed into the bag.
