8070 shifting and plows

I was looking to buy a 8070 with a loader and I was wondering how well it shifts from forward to revers. I was also wondering if it had a two stage clutch like the case does.

I have a friend that has 3 allis plows

1 4 bottom snap coupler with hyd trail wheel
1 4 bottom snap coupler
1 3 bottom snap coupler
1 2 bottom snap coupler

1 allis straight chopper

I was asking if any body knows a value on that line of machinery?

Which transmission is it?????? 20-speed or 12-speed Power Shift?? Yes, sort of....the clutch has a brake built into it when clear down to the floor.

And if you try to use that clutch brake as a real brake, you will have no clutch brake in very short order. Dad's 7060 PS was excellent at fwd/rev. Only trick was low side rev was too slow and high side was too fast. At least they would be for loader work. An 8070 is a lot of pony in behind an ag loader.

Do you think it is a little big?
