Sickle bar mower belt

We have a under belly mounted sickle bar mower on a 1939 B. We need to get the belt for it. The number I have is 807630, which is a old number from a copy of original set up and parts manual. I called Wells Imp but they couldn't cross reference the number. Any ideas where we can get a belt for it? Wells wanted the model number of the mower but the only information I have is Mower for a B or C. Thanks for any help.

I have the manual for that mower on the computer so if you send me an e-mail I can send you the manual. As for the belt take a piece of rope about the size of the belt that came off of it and use it to measure how long the belt is and take that info to a auto parts store and they should be able to get you a belt

I was told that the original belt was wider than any belt an automotive parts store would have.

I have a 1 inch wide belt I got form O"Reilly's. Ye they had to special order it but yes they can get them. The belt on my Farmall A-16 is a 1 inch wide belt and yes it took them a few days but yes I got one. Do not believe every thing your told

"MOST" belts are classified as size A or B or C .......... a B is 5/8 wide and a C is 7/8 wide. Look for a size "C" and then get the length, maybe 36- 40 inches ? There are other SPECIAL belts that are wider, but the "C" is a very common industrial size and Auto store or Bearing house or Grangers or McMaster Carr should handle them.

im not saying the belt is 38 inches long, but I typed in "C38" and you get LOTS OF OPTIONS.

this is the belt number I use on my mower. Agco #70802171.

I just bought a belt, through NAPA for my under belly mower #80 which I use on my D14 or D 17 They had to order it. Their # for the belt is C57 $ 32.00. I don't know if yuor belt is the same lenght but probably a C belt.
