Going to look at a D-10 tomorrow not real up on them what to look for, what is more collectable this one has power steering and a loader is that common. What is a fair price in good condition any advice would be appreciated

A nice original series 3 with hi/low, 3 point and A-C all hydraulic loader is probably worth 4-5 times what an early D-10 with an after market trip bucket loader is worth in so-so condition. You haven't given us much to go on.
Condition is of course a large variable. The later ones also bring much more money than the early ones, especially series 3. If it has the optional high/low trans that adds considerably to value. Power steering is an unusual and desirable option on any of them. If the loader is all hydraulic and A-C it adds value. If not then it only adds usefulness to you (or not). Most buyers seem to have discovered the cost of bringing back uncared for tractors. Thus the price spread is wider than ever between a nice well kept example and one that has led a hard life.

If it has power steering its not a straight D10 unless it was added, could be an I40 or I400 which is an industrial version of the D12.On any D series AC the jumping out of gear problem is always the first thing to look about.Try every gear going downhill to check them
